Long-span suspension and cable-stayed bridges are susceptible to wind-induced
vibrations. One of the essential requirements of modern bridge design is to
avoid significant levels of such vibrations. There are several mechanisms,
in various wind speed ranges, which can cause significant oscillation of the
deck of long-span bridges. Therefore, it is very important for engineers to
