The Search Committee met with members of the Executive Committee of
the Students' Union today during which their views on the qualities
and attributes of the future President were sought. A message has also
been sent to all faculty and staff of the University inviting them to
provide input to the Search Committee.
The post will be openly advertised both locally and overseas. The Chairman
of the Search Committee will also be writing to leading academics and
others who know the University well for nominations of suitable candidates.
