Thickness boundary conditions

DESCRIPTION

For film casting flow problems, at least one boundary condition must be specified on the thickness. Due to the hyperbolic type of the differential equation governing the thickness calculation, this boundary condition should be applied at the inlet of the flow domain. Usually, one knows the thickness of the film at the outlet of the coat hanger die. This is precisely the inlet of the film thickness calculation domain.

The title of each entry contains the current type of thickness boundary condition and the boundary set number. Selecting an entry allows the user to modify the current type and/or some parameters of the boundary condition on a particular boundary set. The default boundary condition is : no prescribed thickness.
