Outlet of the moving surface

Ver: 0   DESCRIPTION This menu is accessed when the user wants to predict the die outlet cross-section in order to obtain a given extrudate cross section. If we call 'inlet of the moving surface' the intersection of the moving surface with the die lip and 'outlet of the moving surface' the intersection of the moving surface with the last section of the free jet, the user must impose the position of the outlet of the moving surface in order to obtain the desired extrudate cross-section while Polyflow will modify the position of the inlet of the moving surface (or the die exit) in order to respect the kinematic condition.   OPTIONS
 
i Boundary i'
This option is selected if the outlet of the moving surface is the intersection between the current boundary set and the boundary set i'.
j  Subdomain j'
This option is selected if the outlet of the moving surface is the intersection between the current boundary set and the subdomain j'.
NOTES The information on the outlet of the moving surface is not used unless the user enables the inverse prediction in the remeshing menu.   SEE ALSO
