Inertia terms

Ver: 0   DESCRIPTION Inertia in the momentum equation can either be neglected or taken into account. When inertia is taken into account, the Reynolds number does not vanish.

By default, inertia terms are neglected.
The menu recalls the current status for inertia, and allows the user to change it.

NOTES Inertia terms introduce a non-linearity in the momentum equation.
Such a non-linearity can lead to the loss of convergence of the iterative technique at high Reynolds numbers; an evolution scheme may be necessary.

When inertia is taken into account, a non-vanishing fluid density must be specified.
