Gravity

Ver: 0

DESCRIPTION

Modifies the gravity term, which apperas as a volume force in the momentum equation.

The gravity force is described by its components in the reference frame of the problem. Two components, gx and gy (equivalently gr and gz in axisymmetric geometries), are needed for 2-D and 2-1/2-D flow problems ; three components, gx, gy and gz, are needed for 3-D flow problems.

Default : gx = gy = gz = 0

1
Modification of gx
(In axisymmetric flows, gx = gr vanishes)
2
Modification of gy
(In axisymmetric flows, gy = gz is the axial gravity component)
3
Modification of gz
(Not available in planar flows)
NOTES A non-vanishing density must be specified when gravity is taken into account (see density).
