Friction force - velocity dependance

DESCRIPTION

In fluid mechanics,  slip is a model applied as a boundary condition where the tangential force is linked to the tangential velocity.  Polyflow offers you three different models to specify this dependency:  the (classical and Generalized) Navier law,  a "treshold" law of the "Bingham" type for  which slip only occurs at a critical shear stress, and a law called "asymptotic" because it exhibits a strong non-linear dependency upon the slip velocity.

Menus are different in all 3 cases:

Modify k
The factor of the slipping law.
1
Modify e
Affects the non-linearity of the law.  When e=1,  linear law.

Modify k
The factor of the slipping law for slip velocities below the critical stress.
1
Modify k2
The factor of the slipping law for slip velocities above the critical stress.
2
Modify Yc
The critical stress.
