Concentration boundary condition along boundary i

Ver: 0

DESCRIPTION

For species transport equarions, modifies the type and parameters of boundary conditions imposed on boundary set i. The current setting is recalled in the header.

Selecting an option sets the type of boundary condition. Polydata will then prompt the user for the parameters associated with the boundary condition in use.

As an option,  the user may also request the calculation of the flux on the current boundary set.

OPTIONS

-2'
Enable flux postprocessor
Allows user to switch on the flux postprocessor on this boundary set. The integral of the flux density will appear in the listing
-2"
Disable force postprocessor
Allows user to switch off the force postprocessor on this boundary set
-1
Upper level menu
The current mass transfer boundary conditions are accepted on boundary set i
Interface
Interface mass transfer boundary conditions are available for multi-fluid flow problems. They require continuity of the mole fraction field along the interface, together with continuity of the interfacial flux. Interfaces should be fixed. Interface conditions are available along intersections of sub-domains only.
Interface conditions in domain A along domain B also require interface conditions in domain B along domain A.
In case of incompatibility, an error is be reported at the level of the task.
Mole fraction imposed
Default : zero mole fraction
Flux density imposed
Default : first order reaction rate with proba = 0, Rg = 8.3143, Mi = 1
Insulated boundary
Equivalent to option 2 whith a vanishing mass flux.
This option can also be used as a symmetry boundary condition.
