Boundary Conditions (mixing)

Ver: 1

DESCRIPTION

Defines the boundary conditions of a mixing task.

The user has to specify which boundaries can be crossed or not by material points.

In addition, in order to reduce the simulation time, the user has the possibility to add
'stopping planes' :  that means that if a material point crosses such a plane,  the calculation
of the current trajectory is stopped, and Polyflow will begin to calculate a new one.

Upper level menu
i
Boundary i is non-penetrable
Default value. For boundaries from 1 to n.
n+1
Add, Remove or Modify stopping planes
Allows to add, remove or modify stopping planes.

Standard boundary conditions are as follows :

-     non-penetrable (default)

-     inflow

-     outflow

There are, in addition, boundary conditions for spatially periodic flows :

-     entry boundary (in a spatially periodic flow)

-     exit boundary (in a spatially periodic flow)

-     parameters to connect spatially periodic boundaries
