Since the start of the University in 1991, over 3,200 PhD and MPhil students have graduated from its research postgraduate programs. To help University Management and academic units understand more about the career development of research postgraduate (RPg) alumni, career tracking surveys are conducted at 3-year intervals. The first exercise was conducted in late 2005 when 554 PhD alumni were surveyed. In the second survey which was conducted in Spring 2009, in addition to PhD alumni (1,107 graduates), MPhil alumni (2,093 graduates) were also included in the exercise. The reports of both alumni survey exercises are published online for the perusal / reference of members of the University community and research degree alumni. Access to the reports requires log-in: To help us improve in the content and structure of the survey in future, we would most welcome comments or suggestions.
