Introduction

Today’s workplace presents those who work in it with diverse and often complex tasks. One response to this challenging working environment is to upgrade your educational qualifications. The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology offers a wide range of self-financing continuing and professional education programs in different subject areas and at various levels to cater for the lifelong learning needs of the workforce in Hong Kong and South China.

The Office of Continuing and Professional Education (OCPE) co-ordinates and oversees the efforts of schools and units of the University in the provision of continuing and professional education programs. It provides secretarial support for University Sub-Committee on Continuing and Professional Education (SCCPE) of the University Administrative Committee (UAC) dealing with self-financing continuing and professional education programs. OCPE is also the University’s link with external bodies and Government agencies concerned with continuing education matters.
