AMI All versions of AMIBIOS with release date 7-15-95 or after are year 2000 complianc.
Award
  • If your AwardBIOS was released before 26 April 1994, you only need to reset your system clock once. Turn the system off before midnight on 31 December 1999. Turn it back on some time after midnight, on 1 January 2000. Then set the system date correctly in Setup. 
  • If your AwardBIOS was released between 26 April 1994 and 31 May 1995, you need to obtain an AwardBIOS update, or reset your system clock every day! 
  • AwardBIOS was released after 31 May 1995 are Y2K compliance.
Phoenix On Phoenix Web Page, they do not have any information about which version of their BIOS that support Year 2000. From a email reply from Phoenix, BIOS released after February 1995 are Y2K compliance

Remark :
As 286, 386 and 486 PCs are too old and their computing power may not be adequate for running current operating systems and applications, most of them have been obsolete. Therefore, most motherboard/PC vendors do not spend resources in modifing their BIOS so as to fix Y2K non-compliance problems for their old PCs. Only few well-known motherboard/PC manufacturers offer BIOS upgrade for users.
