Phoenix fixed this problem in February of 1995, but our customers (PC and motherboard manufacturers) may be using BIOS source code purchased prior to February 1995. There is no BIOS version number that guarantees your system will report the proper date in the year 2000. This same problem will surface again in the year 2099.

Please refer to our Desktop BIOS FAQ's (#5). The Desktop BIOS FAQs are located under the "Technical Information" or "Technical Department" selection of our web page (http://www.phoenix.com).

Because computer manufacturers tailor the Phoenix BIOS for their specific models, they would be the best source for obtaining this information.
