In order login to myPortal, you will need to have a valid Staff / Student ITSC Network Account.
Close your browser session and login again with your Staff / Student ITSC Network Account.
Question: Can I access to myPortal from outside the campus?
Yes. You can access to myPortal outside the campus. However, make sure you have Logout and close all your web browser sessions upon finished access to myPortal.
Question: How long is the inactive time-out of myPortal?
The inactive time-out for myPortal has been set to 1 hour. The "Login myPortal" page will be displayed after myPortal has been idle for that period of time. However, you can access myPortal straight-away if you have already logged in our Central Authentication Service (CAS).
If you have finished accessing myPortal, you are advised to Logout or close all your web browser sessions.
Question: I can access myPortal straight-away without the need to login after I click "Login myPortal", why?
You can access myPortal straight-away if you have already logged in with our Central Authentication Service. You will be prompted to login again in case CAS has reached its time-out limit.
Question: I have already logged in myPortal, why am I prompted to login again?
To prevent unauthorized access, an automatic time-out will be activated several hours after you have logged into CAS. You will be prompted to login again when you need to access myPortal after CAS has been time-out.
