HKUST Lifelong Email Forwarding Address

Overview

HKUST Lifelong Email Forwarding Address is a service provided for students or Long-Serving Retirees / Leavers who wish to own a lifelong email address, even after they have leaved HKUST, for presenting to outside correspondents.

HKUST Lifelong Email Forwarding Address comprises of an Email alias and a Destination email address. Message addressed to this Email alias will be delivered to your specified Destination email address. You can always update the Destination email address such as your favorite Gmail, Yahoo email account or even an email address of your new workplace.

The Lifelong Email Forwarding Address is particularly useful for students to communicate with external parties for the purposes of:

• email communications with friends or peers,
• mailing list subscription,
• journal publishing,
• job seeking,
• etc.

It is provided as a supplement to the official HKUST email address (either @ust.hk or @stu.ust.hk), but will not be expired. Users don't have to worry about losing contact with external parties after leaved HKUST. The official HKUST email address will still be used for internal communications.
