Accept HKUST CA's Root Certificate into your
Browser
In order for your browser to recognize the
HKUST CA, you must first install the HKUST CA root's certificate before
getting your certificate. Choose your browser below and click the
Install link to proceed and then your browser will present a series of
dialog boxes. Simply answer the questions as appropriate to install the
certificate.

1. Click install
to load the HKUST Certificate Authority's certificate into the Communicator.
2. Press <Next> button
in the dialog box until you get the below page, check all the check
box and press <Next> button to accept all certificates
signed by the CA's certificate.
3. Enter the nickname HKUST CA
to identify this Certificate Authority and press <Finish>
button.
4. That's all to load our HKUST CA
into your browser. You can now proceed to apply
the own personal certificate.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
1. Click install
to kick off the dialog box to load the HKUST Certificate Authority's certificate
into the Internet Explorer 4.0 trusted CA database.
2. Check the check box Open
this file from its current location and press <OK>
button.
3. The CA certificate is loaded into
Internet Explorer CA database. Press <OK> to confirm,
before that you can view certificate details with <View Certificate...>.
4. That's all to load our HKUST CA
into your browser. You can now proceed to apply
the own personal certificate.
