How to view Chinese (or other language) with web browser?

In order to view Chinese (or other language) with Windows XP, one has to set the Character Set of the browser to that particular language, for example:

Netscape: View -> Character Set -> Chinese

Internet Explorer: Internet Option -> Languages -> Chinese


Can I input Chinese with MS Office?

Yes. You can input Chinese with Office tools like Word, Excel except that there are limited Chinese fonts by default.


Should I install Windows XP if I am using Chinese Windows 98?

Although Windows XP supports multiple language, there are limited input methods and Chinese fonts. Our recommendation is to stay with the Chinese Windows system if your job nature requires to edit Chinese characters frequently.


How to set Language for non-Unicode Programs to Chinese?

The setting enables non-Unicode programs to display menus and dialogs in their native language. It does not affect Unicode programs.
