There are totally 10 Lecture Theaters, located in the academic concourse and 2/F. These theaters are equipped with modern teaching equipments, including:
- Audio/Visual Equipments - A comprehensive suite of modern instructional aiding AV equipments, like slide projector, overhead projector (OHP), VCR, laserdisc player and video projector is installed here. - I.T. Presentation environment - This includes computer video projector. Teaching colleagues can connect their own notebook computer for specific software presentation. Click here to understand more on connecting a notebook to the Lecture Theaters for presentation.
- Pre-installed desktop computer with presentation software (e.g. Powerpoint, Web browsers) is also available. Please note these desktop computer requires ITSC network logon (with account username@ust.hk).
- Internet ready - The pre-installed desktop computer in the theaters are connected to the Internet. Also, all Lecture Theaters are equipped with Internet connection port at the Instructors Lantern for connecting instructor's notebook to the Internet for presentation.
