Once your computer account is ready, your Name, Email Contact, Department, etc. will appear in the University Communications Directory and can be searched by others from the Internet. In case you would like to limit some of the entries such as the email contact to be displayed to HKUST members only, please kindly uncheck the specific "Open to Public" option in your personal details setup.
Follow the steps below to access your personal details setup page:
- Login to myPortal
- Select the link Review and update under the People Search channel in the Home tab
You may also include other details such as
- Chinese Name
- Home Page URL
- FAX
- Mobile
- etc.
