Nansha Science & Technology Forum (Optional)

Following the HKUST International Conference on Contrasting Marine Ecosystems, there will be a Nansha Science and Technology Forum, organized by Fok Ying Tung Foundation, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Guangzhou Science & Technology Bureau, held at the Conference Centre of the Nansha IT Park (Guangzhou Nansha Economic Development Zone), China.

The Forum consists of 10 sessions including Information Technology, Energy, Healthcare, Environment, Globalization, Materials, Manufacture, Logistics, Natural Disaster & Population. Here is the brief introduction and tentative program of the Nansha Forum.

One of the theme in the Nansha Science & Technology Forum, focusing on Environmental Sustainability, co-chaired by Prof. Paul Harrison, Prof. Ping Shi and Prof. Pei-Yuan Qian, will be held on 27-28 October 2006.

You are cordially invited to attend the Forum 1-day followed by the HKUST International Conference on Contrasting Marine Ecosystems.
