Invitation

On behalf of the National Organizing Committee (NOC), we are very pleased to invite you to the symposium. The on-site registration will start from 2:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology on January 11, 2004, followed by a reception.

Early Registration:  US$450  (on or before October 10, 2003)

Late Registration:   US$500  (after October 10, 2003)

Student Fee:   US$225 (on or before October 10, 2003)

                     US$250 (after October 10, 2003)

There will be no pre-symposium tutorials for ADCHEM 2003. 

Reception

Harbour Cruise

Date: January 11, 2004 (Sunday)

Assembly point: Entrance Piazza, HKUST at 5:00 p.m., January 11, 2004 

Transportation has been arranged to pick up participants from the Entrance Piazza of  HKUST to the embarkation pier and from the disembarkation pier to the hotel area
(Tsim Sha Tsui area). Late arrivals will NOT be entertained.

The cruise will take you to see many famous landmarks that illustrate vibrancy and natural beauty of Hong Kong. You can enjoy a magnificent sunset view of Victoria Harbour and relax with the food and drinks served on board. The journey will take approximately 2 hours, from 5:45p.m. to 7:45p.m, along with live band music.

Please prepare your own medicines if you suffer from seasickness or you do not have to join the reception.

Here are some of the scenery that you may able to see during the cruise:

      

If Black Rainstorm Warning or Storm Warning Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted, the harbour cruise will be cancelled and the reception will be held in the HKUST. Details will be announced during the registration if that is the case.

 

Banquet

Enjoy a banquet of seafood and different dishes of delicacies with Chinese cultural and variety shows at a "floating" restaurant.

Venue: Jumbo Floating Restaurant, Aberdeen, Hong Kong

Transportation has been arranged to pick up participants from the Entrance Piazza of  HKUST to the venue of banquet. Late arrivals will not be entertained.
